Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Power Conditioning Systems (PCS) team. As the Senior Sales Manager of PCS, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and deployment of cutting-edge energy storage solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings, optimize system performance, and support business growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for power conditioning systems solutions aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of PCS technologies, including converter/ inverter, battery storage , hybrid solutions, or grid integration.
  • Oversee technical and commercial feasibility studies for new projects and ensure successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and product teams to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including utilities, developers, regulatory bodies, and technology providers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goals.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and specialists.
  • Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise and identifying market opportunities.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the PCS division.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or a related field.
  • At leas 10 years of experience in the Power Conditioning System, battery energy storage system, or energy industry, with a proven record in leadership roles.
  • A solid track record of successful business development, and sales, preferably in the converter/ inverter, BESS industry or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of BESS converter/ inverter functionality and power system with also strong commercial sales knowledge, preferable in the renewable energy/ BESS industry
  • Strong technical expertise in power electronics, system modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and market dynamics in energy storage.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent in English, other European languages are a plus.
  • Experience with financial modeling and business case development for PCS projects is a plus.
  • Having previously worked for a converter/ inverter manufacturer will be an advantage.
