The Inside Sales Specialist supports customer program execution from New Product Introduction (NPI) through Start of Production (SOP) by managing orders, delivery readiness, and ongoing fulfillment. The role works closely with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to track schedules, resolve material or production issues, and ensure on‑time delivery. This position requires a proactive, detail‑oriented professional focused on execution, coordination, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and coordinate execution during the transition from NPI to SOP, ensuring customer projects progress smoothly from sample, pilot, and qualification phases into serial production by tracking key milestones, launch readiness, and execution risks to support on‑time SOP.
- Manage delivery and order fulfillment by closely tracking customer orders, production schedules, and shipment status, proactively identifying risks to delivery commitments, and coordinating with factories and internal teams to ensure on‑time supply for customer launches and ongoing production.
Monitor material availability by tracking shortages, component constraints, and supply bottlenecks, proactively escalating material‑related risks and coordinating with planning, purchasing, and factory teams to improve supply visibility and drive timely recovery actions.
Act as a central coordination point across sales, customers, factories, planning, purchasing, product management, engineering, and quality teams by ensuring open issues are clearly owned, actively followed up, and closed on time to maintain alignment and prevent delays or communication gaps.
Provide clear, timely communication on delivery status, shortages, schedule changes, and execution issues, supporting the sales team in managing customer expectations during ramp‑up and mass production, and preparing structured status updates, action lists, and summaries for internal and external follow‑up.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in inside sales, sales operations, program coordination, order fulfillment, customer service, or supply chain coordination.
- Experience in NPI to SOP transition, delivery follow-up, and shortage management is strongly preferred.
- Experience in B2B, industrial, electronics, automotive, thermal, or manufacturing environments is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with order management processes, and cross-functional project coordination.
