Role Summary
As a Sales Manager you will be responsible of your own Industrial Automation products and solutions revenue target achievement in your assigned area. You’ll develop new business, expand key accounts, and work closely with distributors, system integrators and OEMs supported by our Product Managers, Field Application Engineers and Customer Service & Support Team.
What You’ll Do
- Developing a sustainable business in the assigned areas, leveraging Delta product portfolio, core technologies and vertical markets competences.
- Focusing on new business whilst coordinating activities with the partner(s) in the area, avoiding conflicts.
- Identifying and approaching potential new customers (SI, OEM, end-user,..).
- Reaching & Exceeding assigned targets.
- Required to travel within the territory to meet with existing and prospect customers.
- Active participation in providing product, market, competition & customer feedback to management and the product management team.
- Execute new product releases within the territory with customers and prospects.
- Cooperate proactively with customer support and technical support teams.
- Reporting on activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales with OEM machine builders, preferably in packaging and technical environments.
- Proven track record in selling complete machine control solutions.
- Strong personal network with key OEMs in the so-called Packaging Valley.
- Highly self-driven and autonomous, with a strong work ethic, resilience in challenging environments.
- Proficiency in industrial automation products and systems such as: (Cloud) software solutions, Motion controllers, PLCs, HMIs, Inverters, servo drives, and motors and CRM platforms.
- Languages: Italian (native) and English (professional).
- Valid B driver’s license and preferably based in the Bologna area.
