About the roleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Market Intelligence & Events Specialist to support our Telecom and Energy businesses. This role combines analytical insight with hands-on execution—an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about technology, market trends, and impactful customer engagement.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze industry trends and policy developments (e.g., tax credits, funding programs, tariffs) in the telecom and energy sectors to assess business impact.
- Research market positioning and the competitiveness of our products; perform competitor benchmarking.
- Identify potential customers and market opportunities; provide strategic input to the Business Development team.
- Develop detailed customer profiles, including financial, operational, and product insights, as well as competitor analysis.
- Support the preparation of strategic presentations and annual planning materials.
- Coordinate with business units and the MarCom team to ensure seamless execution of trade shows and events, covering product list, booth layout, exhibit design, logistics, and on-site setup and teardown.
- Stay informed on product technologies and market offers, with a deep understanding of both internal and competitor portfolios.
- Demonstrate flexibility to occasionally work across Asia time zones
Who you are: (requirements):
- Strong interest in technology, product research, and industry trends
- Ability to interpret and apply policy/regulatory information to business context
- Solid skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and professional presentation creation
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and regions
- Experience in Telecom, Renewable Energy, or EV Charging is preferred
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage both analytical and operational tasks independently
