Strategic Account Manager

Position Purpose

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and winning new strategic key accounts for Delta Electronics within the Building Management Systems (BMS) and smart building market. This is a hunter-focused role centered on bringing established industry relationships to Delta and converting those relationships into long-term enterprise customers.


The ideal candidate has a proven ability to open doors at large end-user, owner, and integrator organizations, influence specifications, and establish Delta as a trusted solution partner where no prior commercial relationship exists.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, target, and secure net-new enterprise key accounts within the BMS, HVAC controls, and smart building ecosystem

- Leverage existing industry relationships to introduce Delta into greenfield accounts

- Drive solution-based sales across Delta’s building, power, and infrastructure portfolio

- Establish Delta as a specified or preferred vendor

- Develop relationships with system integrators, distributors, and end users

- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

- Collaborate with engineering and BABG teams

- Own early-stage execution including applications and specifications

- Achieve revenue targets tied to new account wins

- Represent Delta at industry events

Job Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

- 8+ years of progressive sales experience in BMS, HVAC controls, smart buildings, or related infrastructure markets

- Demonstrated success creating new enterprise accounts and shaping market entry strategies

- Established relationships with senior leaders at building owners and large enterprises

- MBA preferred

- Strong financial, contractual, and commercial acumen

- Willingness to travel domestically

- Highly driven, results-oriented professional with strong judgment and leadership capability

- Ability to thrive within Delta’s fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented culture
