The base salary range for this full-time position is 45k-55k per year. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan. Eligible employees receive company-provided benefits in accordance with plan terms and eligibility requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Operator Management
- Manage daily attendance, discipline, and workforce allocation of production line operators
- Ensure compliance with company policies, work rules, and safety requirements
- Provide on-the-job guidance and basic training for new and existing operators
- Production Output Achievement
- Execute daily production plans and assign manpower according to production requirements
- Monitor production progress and address issues impacting output or efficiency
- Report production status and output performance to management in a timely manner
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure production activities comply with established quality standards and operating procedures
- Coordinate with Quality teams to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues
- Implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of quality-related problems
- Production Support and Guidance
- Support hands-on production activities as needed to ensure smooth line operations
- Guide operators on proper equipment operation and work processes
- Assist in troubleshooting operational or equipment-related issues
- On-site Communication and Issue Escalation
- Act as the primary communication liaison between the production line and management
- Consolidate and escalate production, quality, and personnel issues as required
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise production line operators in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production processes, workflow control, and basic quality requirements
- Ability to monitor production output and identify issues affecting efficiency or delivery
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams
- Basic problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to on-site production issues
- Ensure that the EMS conforms to ISO14001: 2015
- Ensure processes are delivering intended outcomes
- Report to Top Management on the performance of the EMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations
- Ensure the integrity of the EMS is maintained
- *Intermediate proficiency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write for workplace communication
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Prior experience as a Line Leader, Team Leader, or Senior Operator is preferred
- Basic computer skills for production reporting and communication
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime as required by production needs
