Compensation - MBA or Masters Students: $25-$30/hour

Position Overview

The Market Intelligence Intern will support Delta's Energy Infrastructure team by conducting market research, competitive analysis, industry trend monitoring, and business intelligence activities across Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Renewable Energy, EV Charging Infrastructure, Data Centers, Critical Power, and Grid Modernization markets.

This role will work closely with Business Development, Sales, Product Management, and Leadership teams to help identify market opportunities, evaluate competitive positioning, and support strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research Energy Infrastructure market trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments.
  • Monitor competitor activity, product launches, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and market investments.
  • Support competitive intelligence and benchmarking activities.
  • Analyze customer, industry, and market data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Assist with preparation of market reports, presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Conduct research related to BESS, Renewable Energy, EV Charging, Critical Power, Data Centers, and Grid Modernization markets.
  • Support market sizing, TAM analysis, and business case development activities.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Business Development teams on strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program with an expected graduation date between 2026 and 2028.
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Energy Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Ability to work onsite in Plano, Texas throughout the duration of the internship.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize information, analyze data, and present findings in a professional manner.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship, research, or project experience related to market research, business analysis, strategy, or competitive intelligence.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or data visualization tools.
  • Interest in Energy Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Energy Storage (BESS), Data Centers, Critical Power, or Grid Modernization.
