What you would be doing:

Interface with suppliers on product design and cost issues.

Meeting cost targets and project deadlines.

Communicating technical knowledge clearly and understandably.

Working with and collaborating in a team environment.

Providing technical guidance and support to other team members

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical engineering projects

Ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations

Designing cable assemblies and harnesses. Generate DC and AC system-level schematics.

Develop engineering documentation as required.


What we require (Skills and Background):

  • Bullets of requirements –
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 to 10 years of experience developing electrical products for mission-critical facilities.
  • Solid understanding of AC and DC power distribution circuits, including low voltage 3phase AC circuits, low voltage electrical distribution systems, and associated power management.
  • Knowledge of power systems engineering and system control/metering.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in a variety of engineering concepts and practices including electrical design engineering principles. Ability to understand and resolve moderately complex technical issues is required.
  • Firm knowledge of building ground architecture and grounding techniques.
  • Knowledge of Telcordia, UL, National Electric Code, IEEE, and NEBS standards/requirements.
