The Controls & Automation Engineer will design and integrate building management systems (BMS), SCADA platforms, and microgrid controllers for data centers. This role ensures that power and cooling systems operate reliably and efficiently through advanced monitoring, automation, and fault management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design BMS and SCADA control sequences for data center mechanical and electrical systems.
- Integrate microgrid controllers, power monitoring, and DCIM platforms.
- Develop control drawings, I/O schedules, and logic diagrams.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Support commissioning and troubleshooting of BMS/SCADA systems.
- Research and adopt AI/ML-enabled predictive analytics to monitor and maintain.
- BS in Electrical, Controls, or Computer Engineering.
- 5–10 years of BMS/SCADA design and commissioning experience.
- Knowledge of Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, and PLC programming.
- Familiarity with Siemens, Schneider, Delta Controls, or Johnson Controls systems.
- Strong systems integration and troubleshooting skills.
