Compensation - Seniors w/prior experience: $25 - $30 per hour

Position Overview

The Account Manager Intern will support Delta's Energy Infrastructure Sales organization by assisting with customer engagement activities, account planning, business development initiatives, and sales support efforts across Energy Storage, Renewable Energy, EV Charging, Critical Power, and Data Center Infrastructure markets.

This role provides exposure to customer relationship management, strategic account development,

sales operations, and commercial growth initiatives within a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Managers with customer engagement and relationship management

activities.

  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and target customers.
  • Conduct customer and industry research to support account planning efforts.
  • Help prepare customer presentations, proposals, and business reviews.
  • Support CRM updates, pipeline reporting, and sales activity tracking.
  • Participate in customer meetings and internal strategy discussions.
  • Research market trends and customer initiatives within Energy Infrastructure markets.
  • Assist with trade shows, industry events, and business development activities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between 2026 and 2028.
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Ability to work onsite in Plano, Texas throughout the duration of the internship.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in sales, business development, customer engagement, or account management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship, leadership, customer service, sales, or business development experience.
  • Experience participating in student organizations, leadership programs, or competitive academic projects.
  • Interest in Energy Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Data Centers, EV Charging, Critical Power, or Energy Storage markets.
