Technical Project Manager – Solution Components & Infrastructure
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and deliver complex projects across solution components, power systems, and thermal infrastructure. This role combines strong technical knowledge (power supply, cooling systems, data center operations) with project management expertise to ensure successful end-to-end execution. The TPM will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and account managers, serving as both a project leader and a technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities :
Project Leadership & Execution
Plan, manage, and oversee software, hardware, and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
Lead the full technical project lifecycle, including scoping, design, execution, testing, and deployment.
Technical Oversight
Apply expertise in power supply, distribution, cooling systems, and thermal management to guide technical decisions and validate designs.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and operations teams to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
Support integration of solution components such as APIs, middleware, SaaS platforms, or enterprise IT systems.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management
Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic customers, account managers, and cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, operations, and service).
Communicate project progress, risks, and technical trade-offs clearly to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Site & Quality Management
Conduct site evaluations, review design specifications, and oversee installation and commissioning activities.
Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout project execution.
Travel up to 30% may be required for site visits, vendor inspections, and customer engagements.
Financial & Project Controls
Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, expenses, and margins.
Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize project and financial exposure.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including charters, technical submittals, workflows, and performance reports.
Provide regular updates on project status, financial health, and technical performance to stakeholders.
Vendor & OEM/ODM Coordination
Build and manage relationships with suppliers and OEM/ODM partners to ensure timely deliverables and compliance with specifications.
Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate terms, and optimize procurement strategies to improve efficiency and value.
Minium Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5+ years managing technical projects in power infrastructure, mission-critical facilities, or solution component integration.
Technical Knowledge: Power supply/distribution, cooling & thermal management, energy efficiency, and data center operations.
Tools: Proficient in MS Office and project management software (MS Project, Jira, Procore, Smartsheet, etc.).
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and align diverse stakeholders.
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience supporting colocation, hyperscale, or enterprise data centers.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, DCEP, or ATD.
Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and technical project handoffs.
Background in OEM/ODM project management and global supply chain/vendor collaboration.
