Sales Director – Global Key Account


Job Description

Delta is seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Director to lead a global key account, primarily within the consumer segment, while also supporting growing opportunities across industrial and data center activities.

This role is responsible for developing, leading, and executing business strategies to drive annual sales growth, profitability, and gross margin expansion. The Sales Director will lead and develop a high-performing sales team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Business Units—to deliver competitive, best-in-class solutions to customers.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of sales professionals to exceed customer expectations and deliver profitable portfolio growth year over year, in close collaboration with Engineering, Component Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and Operations
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Leverage existing business to strengthen market position, maximize legacy programs, and sustain revenue streams
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities by expanding into new domains and promoting innovative, value-added solutions that differentiate Delta from competitors
  • Act as a role model and mentor to the sales team; drive accountability, performance, and alignment with business objectives
  • Align internal product groups with key customer projects and effectively mobilize company resources to support growth initiatives
  • Gather and analyze customer and competitive intelligence to inform strategy and positioning
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that highlight Delta’s value-added capabilities to key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers within customer organizations
  • Deliver financial performance aligned with company objectives, including revenue, margin, and profitability targets


Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales experience, with strong expertise in the consumer market
  • 5–10 years of leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
  • Strong results orientation with a focus on execution excellence, quality, and speed
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and deliver measurable results


Work Experience

  • 10-15 years of related job experience
  • 5-10 years of successful supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports and identify new talent
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work in fast-paced environment, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
  • Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingual proficiency (Mandarin) is a plus


Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
