HRIS Specialist

Who we are:

Delta, founded in 1971, is a global provider of power and thermal management solutions. Our mission, “To provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow,” focuses on addressing key environmental challenges such as climate change.

As an energy-saving solutions provider with core competencies in power electronics and automation, Delta operates across four major business categories: Power Electronics, Mobility, Automation, and Infrastructure.

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on HR Systems Engineer to support and enhance our HR technology ecosystem, where Workday primarily supports payroll operations and internally developed OA platforms serve as key systems for HR processes and workflow management.

This role goes beyond traditional HRIS administration. We are looking for someone who can bridge business and technology functions by translating user requirements into practical and scalable system solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating across the solution lifecycle—from requirement gathering and process analysis to solution implementation and continuous improvement.

You will contribute to shaping a scalable and efficient HR technology ecosystem by driving platform enhancements and cross-system integration. Working closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders, you will help deliver reliable, user-focused solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  2. Analyze and optimize business processes through system enhancements, workflow optimization, and process automation.
  3. Support the design, configuration, development, testing, implementation, and deployment of business applications and system integrations.
  4. Collaborate with IT teams to deliver scalable solutions and troubleshoot system-related issues.
  5. Provide ongoing support for HR technology platforms, enterprise applications, and cross-functional system integrations.
  6. Develop reports, dashboards, and data analytics to support business operations, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
  7. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), release management, system documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  8. Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and digital technologies to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
  9. Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating effective communication across English- and Mandarin-speaking environments.
  10. Collaborate with stakeholders across the United States, Taiwan, China, and other global regions to support cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, workflow platforms, business systems, or HR technology solutions.
  • Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Understanding of system design, workflow automation, integrations, and data management concepts.
  • Experience supporting, configuring, or enhancing enterprise applications and business systems.
  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting HR technology platforms, workflow systems, or enterprise business applications.
  • Experience working with internally developed applications or custom-built business platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with application configuration, scripting, automation tools, or low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, SQL, or related technologies.
  • Experience with Power BI, UiPath, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled business solutions and process automation tools.
  • Experience working in multinational organizations or globally distributed teams.
  • Experience collaborating across U.S. and Asia-based business and technology organizations.
  • HR domain knowledge.
  • Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving business problems through technology. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and comfortable working across both business and technical domains. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a bilingual and multicultural environment.

This position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy engaging with users, understanding business needs, designing practical solutions, and helping turn ideas into working systems that deliver real business value.
