What you will be doing
As a Senior Recruiter, you will play a critical role in shaping the talent foundation of Delta’s growing Americas organization. You will serve as a trusted strategic partner to business leaders, driving end-to-end recruitment initiatives that attract, engage, and retain high-impact talent across technical, professional, and leadership functions. This role requires a proactive, relationship-driven recruiter who combines strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the talent market and an unwavering commitment to excellence in the candidate and hiring manager experience.
Responsibilities
- Possess 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in technical roles within a corporate or agency environment.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle to attract, engage, and retain top-performing technical and professional talent in a high recruitment volume environment.
- Devise and implement efficient sourcing, evaluation, and recruitment strategies aligned with Delta’s strategic workforce objectives.
- Develop and execute data-driven & inclusive sourcing strategies leveraging multiple channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, diversity associations, campus and industry partnerships, and digital outreach) to attract both active and passive candidates.
- Support applicant assessment for potential roles and identify team alignment through a deep understanding of Delta’s organizational structure and business functions.
- Evaluate candidate skills and hiring manager needs, screen applicants for interviews, and manage the interview process with minimal guidance to ensure efficiency and fairness.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders, partnering closely with executives and HR Business Partners to define hiring needs, create targeted search strategies, and align recruitment outcomes with organizational growth and workforce plans.
- Drive process excellence and innovation by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance digital tools, and implement recruiting best practices aligned with global HR standards.
- Manage and track headcount for cross-functional business units, ensuring accurate mapping of job postings to approved positions and providing insights to optimize hiring strategies and resource allocation.
- Identify recruitment trends and insights to influence hiring priorities, assist with requisition prioritization, and support headcount reconciliation and forecasting.
- Develop and execute cross-team targeted recruiting initiatives to meet hiring goals and guide hiring managers using data-driven talent acquisition strategies.
- Continuously review and enhance sourcing approaches, ensuring alignment with Delta’s core values of innovation, collaboration, and integrity.
- Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and reports to measure performance, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with Delta’s hiring standards and global processes.
- Demonstrate strong candidate relationship management and consultative skills while working effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, market mapping, and candidate management across multiple disciplines.
- Strong communication, teamwork, multi-tasking and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to Influence and coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices, market competitiveness, and equitable selection methods to enhance quality of hire and consistency in decision-making.
- High level of organizational agility, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Candidate Management Systems (CMS), and modern recruiting tools.
- Demonstrated flexibility, resourcefulness, and critical thinking in addressing complex recruitment challenges.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in a professional business context.
- Metrics-driven mindset with a solid understanding of recruiting KPIs, market trends, and best-practice talent acquisition methodologies.
- Prior agency recruiting experience is a plus.
