Role Description:

Marketing and Business Development Internship - Climate Action

 

Marketing and Marketing Communications Responsibilities:

1. Developing marketing strategies and communication materials for sustainability projects and certification programs.
2. Assisting in social media campaigns, website content creation, and digital marketing initiatives promoting climate-positive action.
3. Creating impactful narratives, presentations, and visuals to communicate project outcomes and client success stories.
4. Supporting market research, competitor benchmarking, and campaign analysis to guide brand positioning.
5. Collaborating with design and consulting teams to translate technical sustainability data into engaging public communication.

Business Development Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting potential clients, especially MSMEs and production-based companies.
2. Understanding client needs and aligning Deepwoods’ sustainability solutions to address them.
3. Supporting outreach activities to strengthen collaboration and program participation across businesses.
4. Assisting in preparing solution briefs, introductory decks, and meeting notes for client-facing interactions.

Internship Details:

• Period: Min of 3 months | 6 Months
• Internship Mode: On-site
• Stipend: Rs. 10,000/-
• Variable: Up to 5000 on performance. 
• Post-Internship Opportunity: Eligible for full-time role based on performance
• Documents Provided: Internship Completion Certificate & Recommendation Letter
• Location: Indiranagar, Bengaluru / Alwarpet, Chennai

Eligibility:

• UG/PG students from any stream (marks/arrears not a barrier)
• Interest in sustainability/ESG/business/communication
• Previous experience with internship/projects in marketing and communication preferred
• Strong participation in extra-curricular activities
• Curiosity, responsibility & growth mindset preferred
