Team Lead PV Project Management
We are working with a growing company specialising in photovoltaic project development and delivery, with a strong focus on rooftop solar installations across the residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) sectors.
They are looking for an experienced Team Lead - PV Project Management to lead their project management team, oversee strategic solar projects and drive improvements across project delivery.
This is an opportunity to combine hands-on project leadership with people management, taking responsibility for team development, project performance and the successful delivery of complex PV installations.
Lead, manage and develop the PV Project Management team.
Provide guidance, coaching and regular performance feedback to project managers.
Support recruitment, onboarding and resource planning.
Oversee complex photovoltaic projects, ensuring delivery against budgets, timelines and quality standards.
Support the team with critical projects, escalations and risk management.
Coordinate stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors.
Improve project management processes, standards and best practices.
Define and monitor KPIs, preparing management reports and project updates.
Strengthen collaboration between Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Procurement and senior management.
At least 5 years' experience managing photovoltaic projects.
1-2 years' experience in team leadership or managing project teams.
Proven track record delivering complex PV projects successfully.
Strong understanding of rooftop photovoltaic systems across residential and C&I markets.
Good knowledge of relevant VDE regulations, particularly VDE 4105; VDE 4110 knowledge is advantageous.
Experience in stakeholder, risk and contract management.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and KPI reporting.
Very good German and English language skills.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Hands-on, proactive and commercially minded approach, with a focus on project success.
