- Environmental reporting aligned with TNFD, TCFD, and global standards

- In-situ bioacoustics (AudioMoth), camera traps, and sensor data
- Multi-modal AI, geospatial analytics, and climate models

Role Overview
This is an internship position designed for students and early-career professionals who want hands-on exposure to real climate and biodiversity projects, working directly with field data, scientists, and technologists.
As a Nature & Climate Analytics Intern (Environmental Associate – Intern), you will play a foundational role in building, validating, and scaling science-driven monitoring systems for ecological health and climate risk.
You will work at the intersection of:
- Environmental science
- Data & geospatial analytics
- Climate and nature finance
- Technology-enabled reporting and MRV systems
This role is ideal if you want to move beyond academic theory and work on live industry projects with real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
? Environmental Analytics & Research
- Support biodiversity, carbon, and climate risk assessments using multi-modal datasets
- Assist in developing and validating ecological and climate indicators
- Analyze upliftment and change over time across projects
? Data & Geospatial Work
- Process and analyze satellite imagery and spatial datasets
- Work with Google Earth Engine and geospatial workflows
- Support development of automated analytical pipelines (Python / R)
? Environmental Reporting & Frameworks
- Contribute to TNFD, TCFD, and sustainability-aligned reporting
- Translate complex environmental frameworks into practical deployment guides, annexures, and reports
- Support investor- and client-facing documentation
? Project & Technical Coordination
- Act as a bridge between technology teams and field/conservation partners
- Help translate scientific requirements into:
- Project timelines
- Field manuals
- Internal dashboards (Notion, workflows)
? Applied Research & Knowledge Synthesis
- Rapidly synthesize research into actionable insights
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and learnings for internal and external use
Who Should Apply
? Education
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in:
- Environmental Science
- Ecology
- Climate Science
- Geospatial / Earth Sciences
- Or related fields
? Technical Skills (Nice to have, not all mandatory)
- Functional proficiency in Python or R (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
- Ability to automate repetitive workflows with scripts
- Familiarity with:
- Remote sensing & satellite imagery
- Google Earth Engine
- Ecological indices and basic climate concepts

- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to connect ideas across domains (science, tech, finance)

- Mumbai-based candidates or those willing to relocate are strongly preferred
