At Danfoss Climate Solutions, we are looking for a Field Application Engineer Intern based in Turin. You will support the team in providing technical assistance to customers and sales, take part in installation and commissioning activities, and contribute to after-sales support and technical documentation. During the internship, you will gain exposure to real customer applications, digital tools and CRM systems, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand how technical solutions support business success.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the Field Application Engineering team in providing technical assistance to customers and sales during pre- and post-sales activities.
  • Assist in installation, commissioning, and start-up activities, both remotely and on-site, under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Help analyze technical issues related to products and applications, supporting warranty and claim management through Salesforce CRM.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of technical documentation, reports, and application notes.
  • Support product and application training sessions for internal teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with sales, factories, and technical assistance centers to understand end-to-end customer projects.
  • Gain exposure to digitalization initiatives and digital tools applied to products and applications.
  • Learn how to build and maintain professional relationships with customers by participating in meetings and site visits.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for a motivated individual ready to start or continue their professional journey through internship experience in a technical, customer-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, curious about real-world applications, and interested in growing within a dynamic and international organization.

  • Educational Background in mechanical engineering, Energy Engineering, or similar technical disciplines.
  • Interest in applied engineering, HVAC systems, or climate and energy solutions.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Basic understanding of technical drawings and engineering documentation; familiarity with CAD tools is considered a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with a practical and collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to interact with different stakeholders.
  • Good command of both written and spoken Italian and English.
  • Proactive attitude, reliability, and motivation to develop technical and professional skills.
