The Impact You'll Make
Join Danfoss Drives as an Electrical Engineering Intern and become an integral part of our power electronics department. You'll contribute to active product development, working on real projects that directly impact our ongoing activities. Your work will directly support the advancement of our products, helping us drive innovation in power electronics. By the end of your internship, you'll have a tangible contribution to showcase, along with invaluable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Contribute to an active product development project, completing a package of work that directly impacts our ongoing activities.
Collaborate with team members to understand the background, testing, analysis, and conclusions of your work assignment.
Document your design process, calculations, test data, and results in a detailed report or design journal.
Present your accomplishments to the department at the end of your internship, showcasing your contributions and learnings.
Participate in department meetings and activities, providing general support to other projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
Coursework or focus on Power Engineering or Power Electronics is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively share ideas in formal, informal, and brainstorming sessions.
Ability to manage your time effectively and work independently on tasks up to 40 hours per week.
Situational awareness for personal safety in a laboratory setting, with the ability to follow safety rules and protocols.
Proficiency in using computer tools for simulation, analysis, and modeling.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22 to $25, commensurate with completed school year. Other benefits vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
