As our new Engineer, EMP Customer/Supplier Quality, you will play a vital role in improving customer experience and ensuring product and process quality by supporting both Danfoss customers and finished product suppliers. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help sustain and enhance the high standards expected from Danfoss Climate Solutions – a segment focused on energy-efficient, sustainable heating and cooling.
Every day, you’ll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure product quality, handle claims, drive improvements at suppliers, and support Danfoss’ commitment to customer satisfaction. Much of your time will be spent leading problem solving initiatives (8D), auditing suppliers, and supporting product approval and development processes.

Much of your time will be spent leading problem solving initiatives (8D), auditing suppliers, and supporting product approval and development processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure quality of externally manufactured finished products.
- Participate in new product development projects.
- Facilitate customer and supplier claim handling processes.
- Lead root-cause problem solving analysis (8D) within international and interdisciplinary teams.
- Drive quality improvements at suppliers to ensure stable output.
- Ensure quality systems and standards are in place and adhered to.
- Verify product and production process development results according to Danfoss approval requirements (Supplier PPAP).
- Follow up on corrective & preventive actions from audits and non-conformity reports.
- Support Sales and Application Engineers in improving customer experience.
- Conduct technical audits at suppliers and participate in supplier development.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably related to manufacturing, electronic or quality).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working within the manufacturing industry in a quality role.
- Knowledge of 8D methodology, APQP, and Quality Core Tools.
- Systematic and structured approach to problem solving (uses 8D, Ishikawa Diagram).
- Experience with performing internal or supplier audits.
- Fluent verbal and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Experience with HVAC products (condensing units, compressors, heat exchangers, etc.), valves, sensors, or electronic boards (PCB).
- Work experience in an environment compliant with ISO 9001, IATF 16949.
- ISO 9001 or VDA 6.3 auditor certificate.
- Project management skills.
