Energy Analyst (Measurement & Verification)
Location: London – Hybrid with travel to sites nationwide
We're looking for an experienced Measurement & Verification (M&V) Analyst to join our established Energy & Decarbonisation team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of M&V across a diverse portfolio of energy infrastructure projects, working alongside industry-leading specialists to deliver measurable energy savings for our clients.

The Opportunity
You'll lead Measurement & Verification activities across a national portfolio of projects, ensuring clients achieve the energy savings we've committed to while identifying opportunities for continuous optimisation.
Working closely with our Design, Engineering and Operational teams, you'll influence projects from concept through construction and into long-term operation, ensuring energy performance is maximised throughout the asset lifecycle.
You'll also mentor an M&V Analyst, develop innovative energy performance solutions and build trusted relationships with clients across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Measurement & Verification (M&V) across a nationwide portfolio of projects.
- Design and optimise energy-efficient solutions for complex M&E schemes.
- Produce and present energy performance reports, demonstrating savings and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Carry out detailed energy surveys and site inspections.
- Develop mathematical models and undertake detailed energy calculations.
- Work collaboratively with Design and Energy teams to embed lessons learned into future projects.
- Monitor, forecast and mitigate energy performance risks.
- Act as the technical lead for client meetings and performance reviews.
- Mentor and develop an M&V Analyst.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across Dalkia's energy performance capability.
You'll bring a combination of technical expertise, commercial awareness and strong stakeholder management skills, together with:
- IPMVP qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
- Experience in Measurement & Verification, energy engineering or energy management.
- Strong knowledge of M&E building services and energy-efficient system design.
- Experience leading client meetings and presenting technical information to senior stakeholders.
- Previous people leadership or mentoring experience.
- Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Excel, energy modelling software and ESOS/EPC reporting.
- Commercial awareness with a focus on delivering value for clients.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence others.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
