We’re Hiring: Bid Manager - Drive Winning Proposals in Energy & Infrastructure

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven and customer-focused Bid Manager to play a pivotal role in our business growth. You’ll be at the heart of our bid activity coordinating submissions, managing our CRM, and ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality, compliant proposals.
What You’ll Be Doing
Bid & Proposal Management
You’ll take ownership of bid coordination from start to finish managing timelines, inputs, and governance to deliver compelling, high-quality submissions that clearly demonstrate our capability to exceed client expectations.
You’ll also:
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs to ensure timely, compliant submissions
- Manage bid programmes, governance checkpoints, and deadlines
- Support the development of bid strategies, win themes, and presentation materials
- Maintain a strong library of bid content, templates, and supporting documentation
- Manage bid budgets to ensure efficient and effective delivery
CRM & Pipeline Management (Salesforce)
You’ll ensure our pipeline is accurate, visible, and actionable:
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records across leads, opportunities, and client interactions
- Generate reports and insights to support business development decisions
- Work closely with finance and BD teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment
Portals & Frameworks
- Monitor procurement portals and identify relevant opportunities
- Manage registrations and maintain company profiles
- Ensure accreditations, frameworks, and certifications remain current
- Coordinate reporting requirements for frameworks and performance tracking
Coordination & Communication
You’ll act as the central hub across the business bringing together teams across QSHE, engineering, commercial, finance, and delivery:
- Lead bid meetings (bid/no-bid, reviews, governance, debriefs)
- Maintain clear communication throughout the bid lifecycle
- Manage resources and timelines to keep bids on track
- Resolve bottlenecks and keep momentum strong
Organisation & Support
- Maintain document libraries and SharePoint systems
- Support development of presentations and client materials
- Assist with post-win mobilisation and onboarding
- Continuously prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in bid management, sales operations, or business development support
- Proven ability to manage complex bids with robust governance and control
- Experience within the energy services or infrastructure sector (ideally 10+ years)
- Solid working knowledge of Salesforce (or similar CRM tools)
- Understanding of public sector procurement processes
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- APMP (or similar) qualification
- Experience working with procurement portals and frameworks
