Traveling Solar Service Technician

The Solar Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and excellent troubleshooting skills to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing solar systems to ensure efficiency and reliability. Conduct electrical testing to ensure systems meet safety and performance standards. Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions. Provide training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of their solar systems. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety protocols during all work activities. High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in electrical systems or renewable energy preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with electrical testing experience. Knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols related to solar installations. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
