Controls Engineer
Job Description
Join a team where your engineering expertise directly shapes innovative automated equipment and robotic systems. In this role, you'll take full ownership of electrical control design-from concept development through installation at customer facilities. You'll collaborate closely with technicians, support system assembly, and program all aspects of the equipment you help create.

Design complete electrical schematics for automated machinery and robotic work cells
Develop clean-sheet control programs
Create offline programs prior to commissioning
Debug, refine, and finalize system programs
Generate bills of materials and support purchasing activities
Write clear and comprehensive equipment operation manuals
Conduct and document equipment risk assessments
5+ years of experience in a related field
Associate's degree or higher
Valid driver's license
Experience with 2D electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD)
PLC programming experience with any of the following:
Allen-Bradley
Mitsubishi
Omron
Siemens
HMI programming experience with any of the following:
Allen-Bradley
Mitsubishi
Ability to travel within the U.S. up to 25%
Strong understanding of industry safety standards and design practices
Robotic programming experience with any of the following:
FANUC
Motoman
ABB
Experience with vision systems such as Cognex or FANUC iRVision
Project management experience
