An innovative next-generation energy technology company is seeking an experienced Development Project Manager to drive the planning, coordination, and execution of complex engineering and production initiatives in the advanced nuclear sector.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in developing micro modular reactor (MMR) technology a transformative solution for clean, reliable, and scalable power.
About the Role
The Development Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project activities, ensuring that goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on time. Youll work closely with multidisciplinary teams from engineering and procurement to operations and strategy supporting the development of new projects, feasibility studies, proposals, and supply chain strategies.
This position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer and requires a high degree of independence, technical insight, and organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, operations, and quality.
- Prepare proposals, support advocacy and communications efforts, and assist in feasibility assessments.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Track progress, manage reporting, and maintain documentation and contractual deliverables.
- Foster collaboration among stakeholders and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in nuclear, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the nuclear ecosystem , including key stakeholders and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven success managing complex, multidisciplinary projects from concept through completion.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
