About CRID

At CRID (Center for Research and Implementation for Decarbonization), we act as the systems integrator for India's Net-Zero transition. Think tanks identify problems; startups execute market solutions—but neither alone can close the massive decarbonization gap in India’s most complex sectors.

CRID sits at the intersection: turning patient capital and deep research into real-world pilots, national policy frameworks, and scalable industrial transformations. We target 60% of India's emissions across Industry and Agriculture—leading national missions on Industrial Heat Maps, Heat Pump adoption, Agricultural Dehydrators, and Biomass reservation.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and crisp Fresher Storyteller who can translate complex climate science, industrial thermodynamics, and policy blueprints into punchy, high-impact stories. If you have a natural flair for writing, a knack for clarity, and a passion for climate action, this role is for you!

Decarbonization is full of heavy jargon and dense technical reports. Your mission is to cut through the noise—taking technical data (such as heat mapping, heat pump efficiency, and biomass allocation) and turning it into clear, persuasive narratives for industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and ground partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concise Narrative Creation: Turn dense white papers, field data, and research into bite-sized, captivating stories (micro-copy, case studies, policy briefs, visual summaries).
  • Multi-Platform Content Execution: Write high-engagement content for LinkedIn, executive slide decks, field pilot highlights, media op-eds, and newsletter briefings.
  • National Mission Positioning: Craft compelling stories around CRID’s core programs, including India’s First Industrial Heat Map, the National Mission on Heat Pumps, and the National Mission on Agricultural Dehydrators.
  • Visual & Data Collaboration: Work closely with researchers, engineers, and designers to pair text with visual elements (infographics, charts, and video scripts) that highlight real-world pilot impacts.
  • Ecosystem Communication: Maintain CRID’s distinct voice—authoritative yet accessible, grounded in science, and hyper-focused on national implementation aligned with Viksit Bharat 2047.

Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Freshers / Recent Graduates welcomed! A strong portfolio or 2–3 writing samples showing clear writing capability is required.
  • Mastery of Brevity: Exceptional ability to self-edit, trim unnecessary fluff, and distill complex concepts into crisp, engaging content.
  • Domain Passion: Strong interest in climate tech, sustainability, energy transition, or creative storytelling.
  • Visual Sensibility: Ability to think visually and understand how typography, layout, numbers, and graphics interact to tell a complete story.

Why Join CRID?
  • Work on high-leverage problems directly shaping India’s path toward cutting emissions by 5% by 2047. Position yourself at the forefront of national climate missions and deep-tech deployment.
