Job Summary:
Design and engineer control system hardware and software programming based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Provide analysis of building control and HVAC system performance at a complete systems and campus level. Start up and check out of new system implementations with other team members. Ensure documentation is accurate and complete. Provide project management on projects as required, interfacing directly to our customers. Supervise subcontractors and suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete control system overall design responsibility
- Control programming, integration and graphic development
- Manage the start up of control and HVAC systems
- Manage the commissioning of control and HVAC systems
- Record and update drawings and software modifications
- Engineer field changes, maintain as-build documentation
- Develop and conduct Owner training
- Provide project management tasks (job plans, labor planning/scheduling, fiscal analysis, etc)
- Material ordering/coordination
Skills and Abilities:
- Programming skills
- Strong interactive, analytical and communication skills
- Management of technicians and subcontractors
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
- Knowledge of DDC Control Theory and Applications
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- ACAD skills
Credentials and Experience:
- Engineering undergraduate degree
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer programming experience
- HVAC and/or Mechanical system experience
