Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Quality Control and Testing In-Charge to lead quality assurance across our production process. This role ensures that all raw materials, in-process blends, and final products meet our internal specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control protocols for raw materials and final products.
• Oversee and conduct sampling and testing of products.
• Operate and maintain QC lab equipment.
• Record, analyse, and report quality data; identify trends and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure consistency in raw material and finished goods.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects or product failures and implement corrective measures.
• Interface with production, R&D, and external testing agencies for continuous quality improvement.
• Manage documentation required for certifications, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Train production staff on in-line inspection techniques and basic quality checkpoints.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in quality control or testing in manufacturing (boards, wood, composites, or materials preferred) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Indian and international standards (IS, ASTM, EN) for relevant products.
• Proficiency in data logging, documentation, and basic statistical quality control (SQC).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a plant environment and taking ownership of lab processes.
