?️ Role Overview
You will be our first internal SDR and own outbound execution end-to-end. This is not a volume game. Our ICP is Großunternehmen and Mittelstand companies, and our buyers are senior decision-makers who receive many generic cold calls per month. Quality of targeting, research, and conversation beats dial count every time.
You'll work directly with the GTM Director, with full visibility on strategy and direct influence on how we build our outbound engine. Outbound and inbound operate as one GTM team here: your collaboration with inbound is not just necessary, it's strategic. You'll work hand in hand with marketing to build and optimize our growth engine in the short term (sequences informed by content, content informed by what you hear on the phone).

? What you’ll do:
- Own the full outbound cycle: account research, prioritization, cold calling, email and LinkedIn sequences, follow-up, and meeting booking.
- Run targeted cold calls in German with sustainability leads, senior procurement managers, and CFOs/finance/controlling personas.
- Qualify prospects rigorously before booking: we'd rather have 3 qualified discovery calls than 10 no-shows.
- Log every touchpoint in HubSpot with discipline: your data quality drives our GTM decisions.
- Feed market intelligence back into the team: objections, competitor mentions, persona insights, messaging signals.
- Iterate on pitch, sequences, and targeting with the GTM team based on what you hear in real conversations.
- Use AI tools (Claude, Lusha, HubSpot Breeze) as a core part of your workflow: we are an AI-powered team and expect leverage, not manual grind.
- Bring 1-3 years of outbound SDR/BDR experience in B2B SaaS or B2B services: you've done real cold calling, not just inbound qualification.
- Are native or fluent in German and English (C1 is required): non-negotiable, you'll be calling German business executives daily.
- Understand that outbound is a challenge and treat it as a craft: research before dialing, personalization over templates, no spray and pray.
- Bring CRM discipline: HubSpot experience is a plus, rigorous data hygiene is a must.
- Have interest in climate, carbon management, or sustainability regulation (CSRD, Scope 3, PCF, CCF): you don't need to be an expert, but you need to want to become credible on the topic fast.
- Experience selling to manufacturing, logistics, or industrial companies.
- Experience selling services or consulting (not only software subscriptions).
- Familiarity with the DACH Mittelstand and Großunternehmen buying culture.
- Direct ownership of a core growth lever, working with a GTM team: no layers, no silos.
- An inbound team supporting growth on TOFU and MOFU: you focus on conversations, marketing feeds you signals, content, and air cover.
- A positioning that actually opens doors: decarbonization as a financial and operational topic, not generic sustainability talk.
- AI-first tooling and workflows: you'll spend your time on conversations, not admin.
- Competitive base + uncapped variable tied to qualified meetings and pipeline generated.
- An experienced team around you: climate experts for technical credibility, solution engineers for advanced demos, CS for proof points, leadership that picks up the phone too.
