HR Manager
Cox develops and applies technologies to generate electricity from the sun, working to limit climate change and to develop local communities using mostly concentrating solar thermal (Tower and Trough).
Cox is a world leader in both technological and installed capacity in solar thermal technology. Its offer in this field includes technological advice, engineering services, EPC, consulting, component development (solar field) or O&M services.
Cox South Africa is looking for a HR Manager.
Areas of Responsabilities:
- Handling key HR activities which include talent acquisition, on-boarding, talent development initiatives, performance management and employee relations.
- Drive employment equity plans and targets.
- Acting as a link between projects and HR administration and payroll.
- Providing proper guidance and advice to line managers and employees as the custodian of HR policies and procedures.
- Assisting leaders in identifying, refining, and documenting complex HR needs and requests, when required.
- Supporting the project in leading change, assessing the impact of business decisions on people, and supporting the desired employer brand and culture.
- Providing insights, recommendations for employee engagement and wellness initiatives, as well guarantee execution and post-implementation reviews.
- Support with Employee Relations matters (as well as any needed Union engagement) such as disability cases, disciplinary and grievances as well representing the company externally when required.
- Engaging in meaningful dialogue to ensure alignment on projects with communities and clients.
- Dealing with resistance, communicating change, and guarantying successful implementation.
- Advocating for their employees and balancing their needs with business objectives
- Understanding the political landscape and navigating complex relationships to build consensus, negotiating, and managing expectations.
Minimun Qualification:
- HR Qualification.
- At least five years of traditional HR experience as HR Manager in areas such as talent acquisition, people management, industrial relations and benefits administration.
- Must have experience in Construction or Mining environment.
