Construction Manager - Solar Field Projects

Cox South Africa is looking for a experienced Construction Manager specializing in utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, with a proven track record of delivering solar farms safely, on time, and within budget. Skilled in managing large multidisciplinary teams, coordinating EPC activities, and overseeing all phases of solar field construction including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works. Strong focus on HSE compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10+ years in construction management
- 2–5+ years specifically in solar PV or renewable energy projects
- Experience with: Utility-scale solar farms (MW-scale), Tracker systems (e.g., Nextracker, Array Technologies), Grid integration and substations.
- Certifications: PMP, NEBOSH / IOSH, Solar PV certifications (e.g., PVsyst, NABCEP).
