Sales Advocate
Company Description Cornare is the Regional Environmental Corporation for the Negro and Nare river basins, working across 26 municipalities in Eastern, Northeastern, and Middle Magdalena Antioquia. The organization is dedicated to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development through planning, education, citizen participation, and socio-environmental management. Cornare focuses on human development with an emphasis on equity, inclusion, and climate action, implementing projects and partnerships that improve quality of life and strengthen regional environmental resilience. The team designs local environmental solutions guided by transparency, commitment, and a strong connection to the territory. Cornare is currently led by Director General Javier Valencia González (2024–2027).
Role Description The Sales Advocate is a full-time, on-site role based in Auckland, focused on promoting Cornare’s programs, services, and environmental initiatives to partner organizations and communities. This role includes identifying potential partners and stakeholders, presenting Cornare’s value proposition, and following up on opportunities to build long-term relationships. The Sales Advocate will handle inbound and outbound inquiries, provide responsive and accurate information, and support potential partners through each stage of the engagement process. Daily tasks include conducting outreach campaigns, attending meetings and events, maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools, and preparing reports on activities and results. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to align messaging, support training and promotional activities, and provide feedback from the field to inform strategy.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including active listening, clear presentation, and the ability to adapt messages to diverse audiences.
- Proven Customer Service experience, with a focus on building trust, resolving concerns, and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, such as lead generation, consultative selling, and opportunity follow-up.
- Experience in Training and supporting partners or internal teams on programs, tools, or processes.
- Background in Sales Management or coordination, including pipeline tracking and basic performance reporting.
- Ability to work effectively on-site and in the field, managing time and priorities independently.
- Familiarity with environmental, sustainability, or community development initiatives is an advantage.
- Proficiency with standard office software and CRM or customer tracking tools.
- Relevant tertiary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Environmental Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort collaborating in multidisciplinary, inclusive teams and engaging with diverse communities and stakeholders.
