The Role
We are looking for a WTG Installation Manager to manage all WTG transport, marshalling, pre-assembly, marine logistics and offshore installation activities, from load-out port to mechanical completion of the last turbine.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead safe and timely WTG transport and installation delivery within scope, cost and quality.
- Analyse and recommend transport, pre-assembly, installation and load-out concepts; define marshalling port requirements and vessel spread.
- Prepare ITTs and Employer's Requirements; negotiate, recommend award and manage installation, port, vessel charter and MWS contracts.
- Coordinate the WTG supplier, contractors and vessel owners on deliveries, tooling, mobilisation, marine operations and campaign progress.
- Review method statements, lift plans, sea-fastening designs, weather criteria, workability, risk assessments and HAZID/HAZOP outputs.
- Manage SIMOPS and installation interfaces with foundations, array cables and commissioning, including readiness checks.
- Lead offshore client representatives and installation-phase HSE, including lifting, work at height, marine transfer and emergency response.
- Manage campaign records, handover data, claims, variations, contractual notices, risks, contingency plans and lessons learned.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Marine, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum ten years in offshore installation, including at least five years in offshore wind WTG transport and installation.
- Demonstrated experience managing installation contractors, vessel spreads and Marine Warranty Surveyors.
- Proven ITT preparation, contract negotiation and management of offshore installation and port contracts.
- Experience of international project organisations; Korean marine and port regulatory experience preferred.
