Copeland- a global leader in sustainable climate solutions is growing, and we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in North America! This is a high-impact role where you’ll own full-cycle recruiting across the United States, shape sourcing strategies, and directly influence how we attract and hire the best talent.
This role sits within our Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE) and reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager – North America & Europe (U.S.-based). The position is hybrid and can be located in Sidney, OH or St. Louis, MO.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist You Will
This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist You Will
- Lead full-cycle salaried recruiting across the Unites States. This includes marketing jobs, sourcing talent, screening, interviewing, extending offers & hiring both internal and external talent
- Design and implement a recruiting strategy for salaried professional roles
- Collaborate with the TA team, managers, and HR to understand and communicate our organization’s strategy, structure, products, and culture
- Build positive relationships with hiring managers and HR, serving as a trusted partner to meet talent needs
- Maintain relations with professional organizations & trade schools to improve brand awareness and talent pipelines
- Provide an excellent candidate and hiring team experience, bringing innovative ideas and continuous improvement
- Conduct market research and share talent intelligence to improve job competitiveness
- Be proficient in recruiting tools and HRIS (Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, HireEZ)

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional recruiting experience, including building and implementing effective sourcing & recruiting strategies
- Possess hunter mentality, with previous experience effectively executing recruiting searches and passive sourcing
- Experience using a multitude of sourcing and recruiting related tools
- Ability to align talent acquisition team objectives with business priorities to ensure top performance
- Must be meticulous with project and time management experience and skills with a demonstrable track record of meeting set deadlines and SLA's.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where multiple high-level searches and projects are the norm. This includes being metric and performance driven using analytics to drive decision making
- Proven positive communication skills, including the ability to connect with people internally & externally and at varying levels of the organization
- Be collaborative, creative and operate with urgency through the ability to prioritize effectively to deliver top results
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of professional recruiting experience, including building and implementing effective sourcing & recruiting strategies
- Previous experience with Workday
- Experience recruiting within a global manufacturing organization, navigating complex, matrixed environments
