Financial Analyst

Location: Houston (Hybrid – 1–2 days remote per week)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Competitive Base + Bonus + Equity Program

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a fast-growing company in the clean energy and energy transition sector that is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join their Finance team. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and the executive team. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex financial models (project finance, integrated financial statements, DCF, LBO) to support financing strategies and investment decisions.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and analyses for executive leadership and board presentations.
  • Support financing, investment, and transaction execution, including corporate and project finance structures.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and maintain tools, models, and databases to support corporate development and forecasting.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams including Accounting, Commercial, Legal, and Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, or corporate finance (corporate development or principal investing backgrounds also considered).
  • Strong financial modeling and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Spanish language skills a plus, but not required.
  • Exposure to global energy markets or energy transition projects preferred.
