Associate Procurement Specialist - Expected salary range of $63,900 to $71,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Procurement Specialist Technical - Expected salary range of $92,700 to $103,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Sr Procurement Specialist Technical - Expected salary range of $104,400 to $116,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose Of Position

Implementation of the Supply Chain Process, inventory management, and investment recovery processes and programs.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Associate Procurement Specialist

  • Assist with activities that successfully implement the Supply Chain Process.
  • Assist and support the implementation of inventory management and investment recovery practices; support the maintenance and analysis of inventory performance measures and the planning and forecasting of inventory levels; and support investment recovery efforts.
  • Assist Category Managers in the maintenance and implementation of contracts and purchase orders and the associated databases.
  • Assist with the day to day process resolution including: un-enterable invoices, supplier changes and adds, unit of measure changes, economies of scale identification and changes.
  • Assist with the processes that monitor and manage supplier relationships, and performance oversight.
  • Assist in the identification of new technology and strategies to improve efficiency and quality of service offerings.
  • Assist with the implementation of changes to customer requirements on material requests, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, vendor exceptions, receiving reconciliation, engineering specifications, category IDs, and business unit disputes with the suppliers, deviations from normal Supply processes, and emergent requests.
  • Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Procurement Specialist Technical

  • Support Customer and Supplier needs are understood and addressed including Engineered Specifications, Terms and Conditions enforcement, and sourcing strategies to facilitate the contracted deliverables.
  • Participate in assigned network integration projects and deployments and ensure solutions are delivered to meet business requirements.
  • Support management of emergent supplier relationships, assist in the development of supplier performance metrics on an ongoing basis using a supplier performance monitoring system. Update current monitoring system information as necessary, visit key suppliers as needed and participate in long-range supplier alliance meetings.
  • Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned
  • Support the completion of technical evaluations, material classification, alternate replacement evaluation, and reverse engineering, and analysis of equipment and establishment of commercial grade dedication.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Sr Procurement Specialist Technical

  • Support quality and cost objectives by developing and implementing sourcing strategies that ensure the total cost of materials and services purchased have considerable value and minimal risk.
  • Oversee all Customer and Supplier needs are understood and addressed including Engineered Specifications, Terms and Conditions enforcement, and sourcing strategies to facilitate the contracted deliverables.
  • Support and perform day to day process resolution including: un-enterable invoices, supplier changes and adds, unit of measure changes, economies of scale identification and changes. Investigate and correct issues associated with mismatch invoices; contracts, purchase orders, deliveries, shipping, expediting orders, quality, and receiving.
  • Manage emergent supplier relationships; assist in the development of supplier performance metrics on an ongoing basis using a supplier performance monitoring system.
  • Update current monitoring system information as necessary, visit key suppliers as needed and participate in long-range supplier alliance meetings.
  • Perform technical evaluations, material classification, alternate replacement evaluation, and reverse engineering, and analysis of equipment and establishment of commercial grade dedication.
  • Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned

Position Specifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Associate Procurement Specialist

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or an associate degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of relevant experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Procurement Specialist Technical

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a Technical Program and 2 years of experience, or 6 years of equivalent experience in lieu of the degree
  • Working knowledge of the Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules of Asset Suite 9 (Purchasing, Contracts, and Action Tracking); and eSourcing too

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Sr Procurement Specialist Technical

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical related field with five (5) years of experience or Associate's Degree in business or technical related field with seven (7) years of experience or High School diploma/GED with nine (9) years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of the Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules of Asset Suite 9 (Purchasing, Contracts, and Action Tracking); and eSourcing tool
  • Understanding of commodities, suppliers, market alignments and supply concepts and technical and nontechnical clients.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Procurement Specialist Technical

  • Prior Nuclear experience preferred
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving and independent decision making
  • Proficient PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Power Point, Asset Suite 9 , PeopleSoft Hyperion), work processing, spreadsheet applications, eSourcing tool, flow charting and/or SQL database query development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Sr Procurement Specialist Technical

  • Current E2 level Corporate Procurement or E2 Buyer experience within Constellation, highly preferred
  • Ability to define problems, research, collect data, establish facts, identify root cause, maintain confidentiality, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions/recommendations
  • Proficient PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Power Point, Asset Suite 9 , PeopleSoft Hyperion), work processing, spreadsheet applications, eSourcing tool, flow charting and/or SQL database query development
  • Ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing and work effectively across business units, functional groups, multiple levels of the Corporation and external stakeholders
