Provide a leadership role in the supervision of field sampling and laboratory activities in support of Clean Energy Center (CEC) operation, troubleshooting, and projects. Ensure compliance with Chemistry analytical and radioanalytical programs including all quality and regulatory aspects of the program. Provide coaching and mentoring for all technicians.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities
- Supervise chemistry technicians obtaining samples and conducting lab analysis. This includes coaching on chemistry fundamentals, human performance tools, and procedure compliance.
- Lead and provide support for Chemistry related projects.
- Conduct reviews of CEC work schedules to understand maintenance or operations activities that can impact CEC chemistry, and to ensure proper scheduling of chemistry technician work.
- Accountable for proper scheduling and execution of all CEC samples and analysis, including regulatory required samples.
- Oversee quality lab instrument operation and analysis, ensuring proper chemical hygiene.
- Manage technician policies, scheduling, and budgets.
- Participate in Emergency Response Organization rotation and Chemistry on Call Rotation. Subject to call out as required in support of CEC requirements.
- All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management.
- High School diploma/GED with 9 years overall experience, which includes 3 years related experience that shall include 1-year nuclear power plant experience and 0.25 years on-site experience OR
- Associate's degree with 7 years overall experience, which includes 3 years related experience that shall include 1-year nuclear power plant experience and 0.25 years on-site experience OR
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years overall experience, which includes 3 years related experience that shall include 1-year nuclear power plant experience and 0.25 years on-site experience
- Must meet additional requirements as outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.4.4) Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants"
- Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering with 5 years of chemistry experience in an operating nuclear power plant
- Supervisory experience
- Navy ELT or nuclear power plant chemistry technician
- Radiochemistry Supervisor ANSI qualifications (Radiochemistry Training and 2 years Gamma Spectroscopy)*
