Expected salary range of $117,000 to $130,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose Of Position

Manage and monitor the work activities of all internal and contracted personnel that provide support services throughout the department to ensure a productive workforce that supports all divisional, departmental, Clean Energy Center (CEC), and corporate goals while in accordance with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations. The Supervisor Facilities will also function regularly as a backup Front Line Supervisor (FLS) in other maintenance areas to support high workload times, vacations, and outages.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities

  • Effectively supervise craft personnel to ensure that all assigned maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively by qualified workers in accordance with CEC procedures, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations, and the CEC schedule. Ensures department personnel are properly supervised, trained, and qualified to perform assignments, including emergency plan qualifications.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of all activities required to maintain the CEC structures and facilities in a safe and proper condition through effective use of both internal and external personnel.
  • Administer coaching, mentoring and performance management, including initiation of disciplinary action, for assigned Constellation employees. Provide feedback as appropriate to vendor managers regarding observed performance of contract crews.
  • Participate in various aspects of work control, coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings involving online, load reductions, forced outages and refuel outages activities, to ensure that assigned work is properly assigned, planned, and ready to work.
  • Function regularly as a backup FLS in other maintenance areas to support high workload times, vacations and outages as required.
  • Effectively communicating significant CEC and personnel issues to Maintenance Support Manager and all applicable levels of CEC management. Fostering open communications and collaboration between all organizations internal and external to the CEC including Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) and regulatory agencies.
  • Understands, supports and administers all Maintenance processes, such as the training program, surveillance program, procedure revisions and Corrective Action Program (CAP) to ensure effective work practices. Identify and support improvement opportunities, when applicable.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience OR
  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 4 years of related experience OR
  • Associate's degree and 6 years of related experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED and 8 years of related experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualifications

3 years minimum experience in nuclear power plant operations
