Primary Purpose Of Position
We're looking for a creative, passionate individuals to join the Constellation Philanthropy team! We are seeking a team member to drive employee volunteer engagement and giving programs with nonprofit and other community-based organizations. This individual will have the following primary responsibilities: coordination of Constellation's signature employee philanthropy programs (National Volunteer Month, Impact Leaders, Constellation Community Campaign), point of contact for CyberGrants volunteer & employee giving website, all of which involve extensive interaction with internal and external stakeholders. The person in this role must have the ability to think strategically and manage multiple projects and assignments while paying close attention to the details. The position requires the candidate to lead large-scale and on-going volunteer events and encourage employee engagement in many Constellation activities through outreach and communication. The individual will also support Philanthropy programming via the Constellation Scholars program as well as other signature initiatives. The position also includes working with departments & teams across the company, coordinating efforts with communications, social media and other key stakeholders to let others know of our work in the company. This role includes working evenings and weekends for community events and volunteer activities.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities
- Coordinate Constellation's employee volunteer and giving program operations, including managing event logistics, supporting programs that rally employees to give through the Powering Communities platform, tracking participation, reporting on outcomes and deliverables, and administering related activities such as reviewing and approving volunteer hours and matching gift requests within the online portal.
- Coordinate ongoing relationships and engagement with select key partners and signature initiatives, identifying and sustaining year round partnerships through direct engagement with underserved community members, including mentoring and workforce development initiatives.
- Coordinate the Constellation Scholars program, including maintaining records of current scholars, overseeing the selection process for new scholars, and engaging stakeholders across multiple departments to achieve program objectives. Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and manage internship timelines and communications to scholars to maximize participation and support pathways to careers at Constellation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Liberal Arts or related field and 5 years of related experience
- Demonstrated passion for volunteering and enabling employees to make a positive impact in the community
- Experience working with senior executives
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated successful use of technology to improve process efficiency
- Demonstrated willingness and availability to attend and support team events, including evenings and weekends
- Completion of continuing education, certification, or training in volunteer engagement, employee engagement, STEM fields, or a related discipline
- Strong communication skills and adept at speaking to large groups
- Professional experience in corporate relations, communications or public affairs
- Professional experience working within nonprofit organizations and demonstrated understanding of the nonprofit sector
