The Outage Specialist position is based out of our Calvert Cliffs Clean Energy facility in Lusby, MD.   Constellation offers a wide range of benefits and rewards to help our employees thrive professionally and personally. Expected salary range of $142,200 to $158,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Responsible for directing the development of detailed plans / schedules for forced, planned, and refueling outages while ensuring shutdown safety, as low as reasonable achievable (ALARA) practice, technical specifications and plant procedures adherence. Directs the implementation of the outage schedule during the execution of the outage. Direct and coordinate the detailed schedule and outage plan development for the upcoming unit outage to ensure technical specification compliance and maintain shutdown safety in a manner consistent with station procedures, processes, and goals. Direct the development, implementation, and communication of the Shutdown Safety Program. Coordinate risk screening in support of overall outage risk management. Coordinate outage control center (OCC) training and tabletop drills. Support development of presentation material for outage readiness meetings and executive challenge meetings. Conduct gap analysis and updates to the clean energy center outage template. All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.) Bachelor's degree in business or a technical degree (engineering or maintenance, etc.) with 8 years of power plant experience with at least 3 years commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management OR Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 8 years of power plant experience with at least 3 years commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management OR Associate's degree in business or a technical degree (engineering or maintenance, etc.) with 10 years of power plant experience with at least 3 years commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management OR High school diploma/GED with 12 years of power plant experience with at least 3 years commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
