General Mechanic Maintenance Associate

Aligns and balances rotating equipment. May set up and operate lathes, milling machines, shapers, drill presses and other machine tools in the performance of machine work to close tolerances. Assists other maintenance and modifications crews. To be assigned as needed to support decon, housekeeping, painting, calibration, tool room work and other duties as assigned by the Company. Provides training and oversight to other personnel. This position requires completion of a Mechanic qualification book.   Must have satisfactorily completed an accredited mechanical training program with a minimum of 2 years mechanical experience (Trades, Manufacturing, Navy Nuclear mechanical specific or an INPO accredited mechanical maintenance training program). Must meet requirement of NRC psychological testing regulations. Must satisfactorily complete Plant Access and Radiation Safety Training, including Respirator Qualifications and maintain unescorted access.
