SedMed is in an exciting phase of hyper-growth. Having recently secured $7 million + in venture funding, we are rapidly scaling our mission to restore dignity and independence to those who struggle with Activities of Daily Living. We need a high-impact Operations & Project Manager based in Connecticut to act as the "engine" of the company. You will be responsible for keeping us on track, holding the team accountable, and executing on the critical initiatives that drive our business forward.
What You’ll Own
- Operational Execution: Act as the central operator to ensure company goals are met on time and within scope. You will bridge the gap between strategy and execution.
- Project Oversight: Manage timelines across departments, ensuring cross-functional teams remain focused and productive. You are the ultimate gatekeeper of project milestones.
- For example, Manufacturing, existing inventory, BOM, engineering goals, intellectual property, progress on next gen product development, marketing, events.
- Leadership collaboration: Work directly with CEO to complete core objectives
- Process Implementation: Build and refine systems to ensure organizational efficiency as we scale. If a process is broken, you fix it; if a process is missing, you build it.
Requirements
- "Type A" Executor: You are inherently driven, decisive, and relentless. You don't wait for permission to solve problems—you drive them to resolution.
- Accountability Driver: You possess the grit to hold others to high standards. You prioritize results over comfort and have the confidence to push back when initiatives slip.
- Hands-on Operator: You are not an "ivory tower" manager. You are willing to step into any functional area, roll up your sleeves, and do what is necessary to keep the team moving.
- Tools & Technical Proficiency: Mastery in project management software (e.g., Asana) and data-driven reporting to keep leadership updated on progress.
- Location: Must be based in or near Connecticut. This is an in-person, hands-on role with some remote flexibility.
