About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Affiliates II to join their team. This critical leadership role is focused on advancing the success, impact, and sustainability of the company's affiliate operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening alignment between the headquarters and affiliates, fostering collaboration, and ensuring accountability for affiliate performance. This includes supervising and providing strategic guidance to Executive Directors, holding them accountable for meeting goals, and supporting the development of high-performing affiliate Boards of Directors. The role also involves serving as a strategic thought partner, advocating for the affiliates, and helping to shape and implement organizational policies and strategic direction. Applicants for the Vice President, Affiliates II position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' of progressive executive leadership experience, with at least 5 years' in multi-site or affiliate-based nonprofit management. The role requires a proven ability to lead through influence, collaboration, and relationship-building, as well as strong financial management and budgeting skills. Experience in operations, program management, or organizational development is essential, and a demonstrated commitment to social, economic, and environmental justice is a must. The ideal candidate will have experience in a networked or affiliate-based nonprofit model, familiarity with the renewable energy or environmental justice sectors, and proficiency in various productivity tools. The position may involve periodic travel to affiliate locations across the U.S.
