Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and Mergers and Acquisitions Accomplished provider of water & wastewater control & monitoring solutions Utilities The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and M&A to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and transformation. This executive will work closely with the CEO to define and execute the strategic agenda, lead the M&A function, and drive key initiatives that will shape the future of the business. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor, leading strategic planning, and overseeing the execution of priority goals. They will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic projects, preparing board-ready materials, and leading the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, from deal sourcing to integration. Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 10 years' experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in top-tier management consulting. A proven track record in driving transformational initiatives and leading M&A transactions in fast-growing, complex operational settings is essential. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage diverse, cross-disciplinary project teams. Experience in private equity-backed organizations is highly desirable.
