About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Sales - Federal Projects to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing strategic partnerships with federal agencies to deliver onsite energy solutions. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 15 years of procurement experience, particularly within or with federal entities such as the Department of Defense and/or Department of Energy. The VP, Sales will be responsible for managing relationships across various federal stakeholders, driving complex procurement processes, and ensuring that the company's solutions align with the strategic energy priorities of the government. Technical expertise in alternative energy solutions for large-scale facilities is a plus, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with an MBA or advanced technical degree preferred. Key responsibilities for the VP, Sales - Federal Projects include developing and executing sales strategies for the federal government, serving as the lead commercial contact, and educating government agencies on the company's solutions. The role demands a deep understanding of the federal procurement process and regulations, as well as the ability to navigate and manage relationships at the highest senior levels of government. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic account leadership, commercial execution, and the ability to drive growth in the Federal Sector. Core competencies should include strategic coordination, the ability to translate technical and financial concepts, strong relationship-building, and excellent communication skills with government agencies.
