About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Project Procurement to lead the EPC and BoP spend for its clean energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing procurement category and contract strategies, serving as the key interface with internal and external stakeholders, and driving value-creating procurement solutions. This role requires a leader who can coach and develop the project procurement team, ensure the implementation of procurement strategies, and maintain relationships with major equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors in the renewable energy industry. The Vice President will also be tasked with monitoring the regulatory environment, ensuring compliance with policies and processes, and providing market analysis to support a sustainable supply chain. Applicants for the Vice President of Project Procurement position at the company should have a relevant college degree, with a preference for engineering, supply chain, construction, or business management, and at least 18 years of experience in a similar role, including significant people management experience. The role demands expertise in negotiating and contracting EPC and BoP contracts, as well as a proven track record in meeting performance and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in utility-scale renewable energy project procurement, be adept at managing complex regulatory environments, and possess strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. A business-fluent proficiency in English is required, with Spanish and German language skills being a benefit. The role also requires the ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment, a strong attention to detail, and a willingness to travel both nationally and internationally.
