About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP for Development and Digital Optimization to lead the utility-scale development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for portfolio management, refining end-to-end development processes, and ensuring digital optimization from project initiation to commercial operation. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in renewable energy infrastructure, particularly in the development of solar, wind, and energy storage projects. The VP will also be tasked with managing development partnerships, overseeing JV governance, and leading the integration of digital tools into the development process. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree being a plus, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in renewable energy infrastructure. The role demands a proven track record in managing digital tools, a deep understanding of energy markets, and expertise in areas such as real estate development, interconnection, permitting, and construction management. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with exceptional project management, leadership, and communication skills. They should be adept at managing multiple teams, have a strong desire to learn about the renewables space, and be capable of building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders. The position is office-based but requires significant travel, and the candidate should be prepared for a role that is both challenging and rewarding in a dynamic, evolving industry.
