ClimeCo is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join our dynamic and experienced Finance team. This position will be hybrid in the Tampa area or remote.
Position Description
The main objective of the role is to join and support the ClimeCo Finance Team in this critical role for our business. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, and with ERP experience (NetSuite highly preferred). This role will assist larger initiatives within the Finance team and the company.

Key responsibilities include:
- Review invoices for appropriate account code, documentation, and authorization
- Enter data in accounting system, ensuring accuracy and follow up
- Maintain a schedule of bills to be paid timely and support cash flow statements
- Manage expense reimbursements and credit card transactions
- Run, prepare, and reconcile various financial and analytical reports
- Track, record, and maintain accounting schedules
- Assist in streamlining and improving accounting processes
- Work cross functionally to monitor inventory
- Assist in generating invoices
- Assist with AR aging collections
- Prepare files for import into accounting system
- Contribute as a key member for a timely month-end close
- Support management in year-end audit
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS preferred, in an accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience using NetSuite or a related ERP
- A strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure data integrity
- Prior experience working with accounts payable and/or receivables.
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Rigorous planner and proactive communicator, comfortable supporting multiple projects simultaneously and balancing shifting priorities
- Critical thinking and diligent learning, comfortable with qualitative and quantitative problems, spreadsheets, approximations, and assumptions
- Empathetic team player, excited to contribute to an inclusive company culture
- Willing to travel occasionally (about 10 % of the time)

Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary for a well-qualified Sr. Accountant is $65,000 - $70,000 USD annually base salary and performance-based bonus, considering individual work experience and work location.
