As our Large Industrial practice grows, we're looking for an experienced engineer who wants to lead from the front, not the back office.
What You'll Do
- Lead energy and carbon audits across large industrial manufacturing sites, including detailed reviews of utility systems, manufacturing processes, and energy-efficient design.
- Own and drive Energy Carbon Management programmes from both a technical and programme management perspective, delivering measurable cost, energy and carbon savings.
- Conduct Measurement Verification exercises to IPMVP standards and develop statistical models to identify and quantify reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Climeaction consulting team on full supply chain decarbonization — including Scope 3 — for complex industrial clients.
- Work directly with company directors to shape new services and products. This is a role with genuine input into where the business goes next.
- Level 8 degree in Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years in industrial energy consulting or a comparable senior industry role
- Hands-on experience with industrial energy auditing and Energy Management programmes
- Demonstrated ability to deliver client projects on time and on budget
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- Full, clean driving licence
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA)
- Lean Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement qualification
- Own vehicle
