Role Description and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a full-time Marketing Intern (ideally 40 hours/week) for a 3-month period, with a background in marketing, communications, and/or multimedia content creation. This individual will provide administrative and creative support to CSV’s Marketing and Corporate Communications Team, helping streamline daily operations, organize content, and support digital and video marketing initiatives. In this role, the Marketing Intern will gain practical, hands-on experience and develop skills in marketing and communications while contributing to energy transition initiatives across Asia.
The preferred location for this hybrid role is the Philippines. The Marketing Intern will work closely with CSV’s Marketing Associate and report to the company’s Head of Corporate Communications and Thought Leadership.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting social media activities, including identifying content, drafting copy, creating graphics, and posting, while ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
- Assisting in the design of graphics, slide decks, and other marketing collateral using Canva or similar tools.
- Contributing to the preparation of presentations, report layouts, and other internal or external communication materials.
- Helping coordinate events in the Philippines and assisting in drafting press release summaries related to these activities.
- Supporting website updates and enhancements, including improvements to formatting, design, content organization, and overall user experience.
- Assisting with video projects by reviewing content, checking for brand alignment, and making edits as needed.
- Performing additional administrative and marketing-related tasks as assigned.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, or a related field
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools)
- Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and YouTube, and a basic understanding of digital marketing best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva or similar design software
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in climate change, sustainability, or energy transition issues is a plus
- Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic start-up environment
This is a 3-month hybrid role, ideally 40 hours per week and based in the Philippines, though we are open to flexible arrangements for exceptional candidates. The position includes a monthly stipend, with the specific amount depending on experience and weekly hours. The target start date is mid-to-late January.
